The Man On The Train

An unnamed man wakes to find himself in a train carriage, unable to speak or interact with his fellow passengers. The man has no recollection of his past, no memory to speak of, but can still think and engage with language.

The narrative follows the man’s experiences within the train carriage - a space which he appears unable to broach physically – along with his encounters with other passengers, the thoughts of whom he believes he can hear.

The story builds towards a realisation both personal and spiritual surrounding the man’s personality and points to broader significance in terms of human identity and the nature of self.
